After the CarPlay interface is successfully installed, some users may experience lag. This can be fixed by overclocking their Raspberry Pi module running Android.

If they need audio navigation assistance, users will have to give up mic support for calls.
This developer has committed to fixing some limitations in future builds the Tesla Android Project Kit, but until Tesla releases official support via a software upgrade, this may be the best option.
